![]() ![]() Reinstalled Acc and got the msg to activate and enter my license key and it activated w/o any problems. I put the file in my c:/ directory and then got it to run from there. The key thing is that you must go to an elevated cmd prompt (by right clicking Command Prompt in Windows Search and selecting to run in Admin mode). It took me many hours and days to get it installed until I got these "fixes" figured out. Make sure to FULLY uninstall FSX first if you decide to go this route. No registration or activation problems and a number of improvements built-in. My solution was to use the PartsMgr fix as above for FSX and to use KB928080 to reset the license for Acc. Another solution would be to buy FSX:SE which is currently 60 off in the Steam sale. I have FSX Deluxe and Acc too and reinstalled FSX last year and ran into the same problems as you. When I do Set All WX again, after few seconds speed goes down again. It is amazing you were able to activate on-line. My issue is i use FSX Deluxe and this does not include ACC. The good news is that once the dependencies have been installed, then future re-installs will proceed without drama.Īlso when FSX has been installed with the Acceleration (or latest FSX service pack), do a test flight before installing PE. However I have found there are sooooooo many that this is easier said than done. Likely this is the Visual C re-distribute. The other option is for you to manually install the dependencies. You don't find out about until the application attempts to run and can not. So the installer completes without the required dependencies installed. The FSX installer isn't smart enough to catch this error and give an error message. However the child fork will fail unless the parent has administrator rights. What I have found is that the FSX installer will look for other software dependencies and attempt to automatically "fork" a child install. Try running the original installer jobs "as administrator". Is this a new sim setup? Has the sim ever worked even without PE? There are plenty of us out here using Windows 10. Anyone have this issue and/or know the offending texture so I can fix it My machine is a Phenom Quad 9850, GTX 260, 8Gb RAM, 2Tb HDD, Vista (32), FSX SP2 (Acceleration), FTX SP3b, REX2, ASA, and everything else in FSX works fine. ![]()
